Lombardini Range of Diesel Engines

Lombardini has created innovative products and contributed significantly to the development of the diesel engine.

The Lombardini family began the business in 1933 in Reggio Emilia. The company was well placed to supply needed equipment Following the Second World War, and in 1957 the LA engine series went into production.The company diversified in 1959 manufacturing the first caterpillar agricultural tractor. In 1963 Lombardini had outgrown its premises and began construction of new premises. It also began to open branches overseas.

Lombardini continues to be an Italian world leader in diesel engine production.
