SUPER Silent Generators are the ONLY way of providing emergency power for critical systems, when the generator is to be located close to a residential area or heritage site.

SUPER Silent Generators - Each Generator can either be fully automatic or manual

SUPER Silent Canopied set – With sound proofing by means of the acoustic canopy especially where nearby buildings are residential or heritage sites- These are usually installed outside a building in a car park or outside the intake room and 80dbA @ 1 metres noise level.
This most commonly used generators termed ‘ SUPER silent’ are 65 dbA @ 1 metre noise level in open field conditions. This is very quiet indeed.

SUPER Silent Acoustic and weather proof canopy – With sound proofing by means of the acoustic canopy that is both lockable and weather proof - These are usually the most commonly used generators termed ‘SUPER silent’ are 65 dbA @ 1 metre noise level in open field conditions
Although in certain circumstances a generator can be 55dBA@1 metre.

SUPER Silent Containerised Generator– With sound proofing by means of the acoustic lined container that is both lockable and weather proof - These are usually installed outside a building in a car park or outside the intake room. Containerised generators are usually larger generators above 500kVA and upward larger sizes ‘SUPER silent’ are 65 dbA @ 1 metres noise level.
Although in certain circumstances a generator can be 55dBA@1 metre.

Bear in mind ambient background noise levels when stipulating a SUPER Silent Generator.
Why?
Because ambient background noise levels are usually around 60-65dBA anyway.

SUPER Silent Marine Containerised – With sound proofing by means of the acoustic lined container that is both lockable and sea weather proof - These are usually installed on the deck of a ship or cruise liner. Marine Containerised generators are usually larger generators above 500kVA and upward larger sizes, ‘SUPER silent’ are 65 dbA @ 1 metres noise level.
A SUPER silent marine generator would only be stipulated if the generator is located close to cabins. Otherwise a standard 80dBA@1 metre is acceptable and the norm.

Purpose Built Bespoke SUPER Silent generators– We can custom build in accordance with the clients noise level requirements whether it is a residential site or sensitive office environment :-

Super Silent Specification to have 70dbA /65dBAor less noise emissions @ 1 metre in open field conditions

Extreme  Silent Specification to have 65dbA or less noise emissions @ 1 metre in open field conditions

Whisper  Silent Specification to have 60dbA/55dBA or less noise emissions @ 1 metre in open field conditions

Diesel Fuel Tanks

Diesel generators– Fuel tanks for Red Diesel – Each generator that we build comes with an on-board fuel tank. If you choose an openset generator on a skid then the fuel tank is usually a separate stand alone tank unless you tell us otherwise when ordering

We can custom build larger fuels tanks in accordance with the clients requirements up to 14 days fuel requirements. The largest that we have built so far is 50,000 litre tank

PowerContinuity Systems can custom build SUPER Silent Generators to any size but bear in mind the quieter the generator the much larger the canopy as it has to accommodate much larger  attenuation . This increases the overall cost dramatically. Please be certain that SUPER silent is what you require before embarking on this journey.
