1250kVA Generator removal at NHS Hospital

Removed all old switchgear and attenuation.

Leaving an empty room ready to install a new generator with LV panels and attenuation.

The exterior wall and attenuation had to be removed.

All silencer sections and internal flue with old lagging was removed.

Old Diesel fuel taken out of this ancient Dorman generator.

Due to the limited working space , the skid had to be unbolted and jacked up, to place the skid of skates.

Then we used the HIAB to drag the defunct open set generator out of the building, inch by inch.

Due to its age, over 50 years, this monster went to scrap to be dismantled and recycled.
