Replacement UPS in Data Centre at Portsmouth Hospitals University
Delivered and installed a new UPS at Portsmouth Hospitals, ensuring seamless power transition without disruption.
Today we delivered and installed one of our containerised Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units to the Data Centre at Portsmouth Hospitals University and Isle of Wight NHS Trust.
The UPS was delivered at 09:30hrs, connected and commissioned by 11:30hrs. It was a fantastic team effort by the Power Continuity engineers who worked perfectly beside the crew from the Trusts’ Digital team, Equans, and Estates.
Over the afternoon the Trust were able to migrate all of their existing workloads back from the generator to the new UPS and decommission the temporary generator that had helped them over the past three months. Careful preparation and great team work kept the lights on throughout the day with no disruption to hospital operations.
